BOTOX Cosmetic contains tiny amounts of highly purified botulinum toxin protein refined from the bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. Your specialist will inject these muscles with BOTOX Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow's feet lines and frown lines between your brows.
Prior to Receiving any injectable treatments, we strongly advise that you avoid consuming any alcohol and blood-thinning medications such as Asprin or other NSAIDS. This will help prevent bruising during your Botox Treatment. During the Procedure the provider will apply topical numbing and /or ice to ensure comfort prior to injecting. Using a fine gauge needle, your provider will administer the botox into the muscle where the fine lines are seen. Following each injection, Your Provider may apply ice to reduce swelling and minimize discomfort. Your Aesthetic injector will provide you with after care instructions.
When scheduling for a Botox treatment. It is a 15- 25 Minutes long Treatment. It is important to note that immediate results are not shown it generally takes 10 to 14 days to see full effect. Botox's typically last up to 3-4 Month you may return to get a touch up. Touch ups often require less units then initial visit.
